The Challenge
Valley set out to automate outbound prospecting, which traditionally requires dedicated SDR teams for manual research, outreach, and conversation management. Valley needed to build a system that could identify qualified website visitors in real-time, research them across dozens of signals, generate personalized outreach, and manage conversations that led to booked meetings—all autonomously. The technical hurdle was making AI sound natural enough that prospects would engage, while handling unpredictable responses and steering conversations toward scheduling.
The Solution
Valley brought on an A.Team AI engineer to design a full AI SDR pipeline where each piece of intelligence informed the next. The engineer started with visitor identification and ICP scoring to qualify leads, then automated research across two dozen signals—LinkedIn activity, website behavior, company news—creating context that SDRs typically spend hours gathering. The engineer trained LLMs on this research to generate outreach with specific, relevant details for each prospect. Custom prompts and business logic handled responses naturally—questions, objections, interest—always steering toward booking. Direct calendar integration eliminated scheduling back-and-forth, while built-in A/B testing continuously improved which messages and approaches drove the highest reply and booking rates.
